Fennigen Whistles
Founded by two players who’ve spent over a decade building the Irish music community in China: Lyu Qing and Maker, Liu Xiaolong. Fennigen Whistles are handmade in the highlands of Yunnan, southwest China. Engineered for tone, tuning and feel that carry Irish music with intention.
At Big whistle we have seen a lot of whistles from around the world. Rarely have we seen such precisely made instruments with, pure, clean tone that jumps effortlessly between octaves. Machined in aluminium, Fennigen Whistles take the traditional penny whistle formula and elevate it to something professionally voiced and made for sessions.
